Detailed problem:
In order to detect idle resources in the system and thereby optimize its operation, it was necessary to integrate the management systems of the transport networks of different suppliers. In addition, these systems were not integrated with the Embratel Capacity Integrator (CI) transport network planning and inventory tool. Thus, there was a lot of manual operator intervention in the management system. There was also a need to audit data to identify misconceptions and facilitate administration.

With the implementation of the Gateway developed by Visionnaire, Embratel integrated multi-vendor transport network management with the Capacity Integrator (CI) transport inventory and planning tool.
Unified network management enables system optimization by detecting idle resources. Reducing manual intervention by automating the trail provisioning process has made network management more agile. The system integrates provisioning activity, from inventory to feature configuration in multi-vendor networks. In addition, it provides an audit facility that ensures the consistency of information from the systems involved.
