In addition to the students, the event was attended by representatives from Visionnaire, Bradesco, and PUCPR

On Tuesday (April 1), the Cycle Closing Event of the Talent Attraction and Training Program (Programa de Atração e Formação de Talentos — PAFT, in Portuguese) took place at the Extended Reality Center on PUCPR’s campus in Curitiba, Paraná’s capital. The event marked the formal conclusion of the second edition of PAFT, a joint initiative by Visionnaire, Bradesco, and PUCPR, which began in 2022 and went through several phases.

Even though one cycle has ended, another begins. Thus, one of the event's goals was to keep the motivation alive for everyone who reached this point and is now looking at future career opportunities. Last but not least, the event also served as a networking opportunity for the participants—something that was valuable throughout the entire program and in all related events.

The Extended Reality Center at PUCPR includes an immersive 360° Room auditorium, which was used for the event. Representatives from the three institutions shared their insights and conclusions about the program, followed by a lecture by Professor Kátia Taras, a specialist in corporate training and a consultant in professional and personal image and behavior. As expected, some students shared testimonials about their experiences to close the event’s program. After all, they are the real protagonists of the project, which we—Visionnaire, Bradesco, and PUCPR—are proud to have successfully carried out.

About PAFT

The Talent Attraction and Training Program is a joint initiative by Visionnaire, Bradesco, and PUCPR that prepared professionals who will now have the opportunity to work on projects at Bradesco and Visionnaire.

The program was free and open not only to PUCPR students and students from other institutions but also to professionals in general. The second edition of PAFT included five tracks: Front-End, Back-End, DevOps, Native Android, and Native iOS. The Front-End track focused on the technical aspects of client-side software programming, the Back-End track focused on server-side programming, the DevOps track addressed the technical aspects of Development and Operations in software systems, and the Android and iOS tracks focused on native mobile app development for Google and Apple platforms, respectively. The classes were taught by experienced instructors and were highly practical, with most sessions taking place in PUCPR’s computer labs.

Over 600 people applied, and 102 were selected, distributed as follows: 25 in Front-End, 30 in Back-End, 24 in DevOps, 10 in Android, and 13 in iOS. Students received certificates issued by PUCPR.

Throughout the program, five in-person events were held: the Opening Event, the First Meeting (focused on motivation), the Second Meeting (focused on progress tracking), the graduation for the six-month tracks, and the graduation for the nine-month tracks. The entire process spanned from 2022 to 2024.

The selected students were hired by Visionnaire and worked on Bradesco projects for an average of 12 months. After this period, most students were hired as full-time employees at Bradesco. This was the plan from the beginning, and we are grateful to have executed the project as planned, despite some challenges along the way.

Testimonials

“The program gave us excellent training and allowed us to start working on projects right away. I immediately joined a very challenging project, with an international scope and a great team.”
Rafael Peres Rubira
DevOps Track Student

“The characteristics of PAFT really caught my attention: it was a free program, open to the community, with five distinct tracks, and top-performing participants had a great opportunity to be hired by Visionnaire and Bradesco to work on projects. I hope this moment is just the beginning of a long and successful journey.”
Stephany Duarte Portela
Back-End Track Student

“We had excellent instructors. I was looking for something where I could study, learn, apply the knowledge, and grow every day.”
Wéverton de Oliveira do Nascimento
