PROBLEM
Develop an innovative project, within an innovation program, aimed at the health area of some public agencies.
SOLUTION
Visionnaire developed FIS (Brazilian Portuguese abbreviation for Health Services Integration Tool), which makes it easier to integrate service management software in the health area. Visionnaire's intention is, through the tool, to contribute to the advancement of the Strategic Digital City.
RESULTS
Visionnaire’s solution allowed the analysis of health indicators in the databases of industry workers, city halls and State Secretaries, always presenting information in aggregate form, preserving privacy and individuality. The data, which previously was analyzed in the form of spreadsheets, could be better analyzed using a web system, with the presentation of graphs and statistical analysis.
For Visionnaire, specifically, this was an innovation project that was approved in PAPPE (Brazilian Portuguese abbreviation for Small Business Research Support Program) as part of Paraná's 50 best innovation ideas.
TECHNOLOGY
The technologies used were intended for use via the web, based on the Microsoft platform. Using C# language, SQL Server database, Visual Studio for development, IIS server and a strong focus on integration work with various databases from different institutions with health databases.
A proprietary system was developed to extract data from various databases (for example, existing databases in Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server) for integration into a unified database in SQL Server.
Detailed problem:
In 2012, Fiep (Brazilian Portuguese abbreviation for Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná), together with Sebrae (Brazilian Portuguese abbreviation for Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service), with support from IBQP (Brazilian Portuguese abbreviation for Quality and Productivity Brazilian Institute) and joint financing from Finep (Brazilian Portuguese abbreviation for Study and Projects Financier), launched a research support program for small businesses.
Numerous companies participated with the most varied projects throughout the state of Paraná. Visionnaire was one of the 50 companies contemplated in the state and presented an innovative project for the occupational health area, with integration of databases and statistical analyzes, as well as graphic visualizations.
The main focus of the project was on Sesi (Brazilian Portuguese abbreviation for Social Service for Industry, a part of the Fiep System), which is aimed at industry workers and works with health data. One of the objectives was to integrate the different existing bases into a single view, which would allow analytical results to be obtained from the information.
Detailed solution:
Visionnaire created FIS (Brazilian Portuguese abbreviation for Health Services Integration Tool), which provides greater ease in the integration of service management software in the health area. Created to meet a need for public health service management, the product generates strategic indicators and reports, weighing consistent and reliable data. The main clients are State Departments and city halls.
With the system, it is possible to have faster and more visual information, accelerating the work and giving more productivity to researchers in the health area of these institutions. Visionnaire's intention is, through the tool, to contribute to the advancement of the Strategic Digital City.
